The Roberts Orpheum Theater
The Roberts Orpheum Theater is the historic American Theatre building at 416 North Ninth Street in downtown St. Louis. The City of St. Louis identifies it as City Landmark 104 and notes that architect G. Albert Lansburgh designed the Beaux Arts theater in 1916 for owner Louis A. Cella. Originally named The Orpheum and later known as the American Theatre, it is also listed in National Register documentation.
