STLTalks Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of STLTalks, including the website, Android app, profiles, feed posts, photos, Circles, business pages, messages, reviews, events, and dating features. By creating an account or using STLTalks, you agree to these Terms and the linked policies.

1. Who Can Use STLTalks

• You must be at least 13 years old to use STLTalks.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use any dating feature.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for activity under your account.
• You may not use STLTalks if your account has been suspended or removed for violating these Terms.

2. Your Account

Keep your login information secure. You are responsible for posts, photos, messages, business updates, dating activity, and other actions taken through your account. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. User Content

You own the content you post, such as text, photos, profile information, reviews, Circle posts, business updates, and dating profile content. You give STLTalks a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, reproduce, moderate, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, protect, and improve STLTalks.

You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload. Do not post content that violates someone else's copyright, privacy, publicity rights, trademark rights, or other legal rights.

4. Community Rules

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. We may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, preserve records, or report activity when needed to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

5. Businesses, Pages, Reviews, and Claims

Business pages and public place listings may include information from public sources, user submissions, event providers, or business owners. Claiming or managing a business page does not give permission to post false, misleading, illegal, infringing, or harmful material. Reviews must reflect real experiences and may be moderated for abuse, spam, conflicts of interest, or legal risk.

6. Dating Features

Dating features are for adults only. STLTalks does not verify every identity, background, statement, or intention. You are responsible for your interactions. Use common sense, protect personal information, meet in public places, and report suspicious or abusive behavior. Dating use is also subject to the Dating Safety Notice.

7. Private Messages

Private messages are intended for the participants in the conversation, but they are not guaranteed to be confidential against legal process, abuse investigation, security review, backups, or required platform operations. Do not use STLTalks for highly sensitive information.

8. Prohibited Uses

• Harassment, threats, stalking, hate, exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate content.
• Spam, scams, impersonation, fake accounts, deceptive business claims, credential theft, or malware.
• Posting illegal content or coordinating illegal activity.
• Scraping, automated abuse, security probing, reverse engineering, or interference with STLTalks systems.
• Using STLTalks to violate another person's rights or applicable law.

9. Moderation and Enforcement

We may review reports, automated signals, public content, account history, and relevant private records when enforcing rules or responding to safety, security, or legal issues. We may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion.

10. Service Changes

STLTalks is evolving. Features may change, pause, or be removed. We do not guarantee that any specific feature, post, page, match, message, event listing, or business listing will always remain available.

11. No Professional Advice or Emergency Service

STLTalks is a community platform. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, dating, safety, emergency, or professional advice. If there is an emergency, contact local emergency services.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

STLTalks is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, user conduct, third-party content, or unavailable service.

13. Termination

You may stop using STLTalks at any time and may request account deletion through Profile Settings or the data deletion process. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms were violated or continued access creates risk.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are intended for a United States service operated from Missouri. Where allowed by law, Missouri law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

15. Contact

Questions, legal notices, safety reports, privacy requests, or rights requests can be sent through the STLTalks contact or report channels available in the app or website. A dedicated contact address should be added here before broad public launch.
