Data Deletion and Privacy Requests
Last updated: May 23, 2026
STLTalks users can request deletion, access, correction, or privacy help for account data.
Delete Your Account
Logged-in users can delete their account from Profile Settings on the website or Android app. Account deletion removes or disconnects many account records, but some information may be retained when needed for security, legal compliance, backups, abuse prevention, financial records if any, moderation history, or dispute resolution.
Other Privacy Requests
You may request access, correction, export, deletion, or other privacy assistance. To protect accounts, STLTalks may require identity verification before acting on a request.
Content That May Remain
- Messages already delivered to other users may remain in their conversations unless deletion is legally required or operationally appropriate.
- Moderation reports, safety records, and security logs may be retained for platform protection.
- Backups may retain deleted data temporarily until normal backup rotation removes it.
- Business, event, and public listing data from public sources may remain even if a user account is deleted.
Where to Send Requests
Use Profile Settings for account deletion. For other privacy requests, contact STLTalks through available support/report channels. A dedicated privacy request email should be added before broad public launch.
