Cardinal Luis Tagle, Papal Representative of Pope Leo XIV, will celebrate the Mass of Beatifiation of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen in St. Louis. Beatification in the Catholic Church is a recognition of the holiness of life of Archbishop Sheen and of his intercession from Heaven. Archbishop Sheen was known for his work of evangelization on television in his Emmy winning program, ?Life is Worth Living.? He was also known for his daily prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, his devotion to Jesus Christ, and his service to the missions. His books and talks continue to be widely appreciated by Catholics and Christians throughout the world. Doors will open at 8 am for the Sheen Expo along with Adoration and Confession. The Pre-Mass Show with Concert and Discussions will begin at 10 am. The Mass will begin promptly at 2pm followed by veneration of relics. Expo and other programming closes at 7pm.
